What the current website may collect

Current Landing Page data may include:

• email address;
• country / launch market selected by the user;
• swimming use case;
• swim-goggle brand or model of interest;
• fit problem or pain category;
• pricing interest;
• consent timestamp;
• UTM fields;
• safe metadata needed for waitlist submission reliability; and
• non-identifying analytics events.

We use trusted service providers to host the website, store waitlist submissions, operate basic analytics, maintain security, and manage legal or privacy-request workflows.

Isolated Homepage $5.99 research candidate

The isolated research candidate uses an anonymous research_session_id and a finite local resume state. No account is required and no payment is collected today.

The Q1–Q5 voluntary answers may include: stated interest in paying $5.99 for one exact supported-model check; Q2 decision-value selections; one fit-intent category; swimming-use contexts; self-reported purchase country; a controlled brand; an optional model; and an optional open comment.

The flow can save Q1–Q5 answers as one session record. The local resume state is finite and expires after 14 days. Start over creates a new anonymous session.

Research answers do not depend on analytics consent. If analytics is allowed, only limited active-engagement and maximum-scroll summary measurements may be collected to understand how the page is used. Analytics must not receive the write token, token hash, model free text, other-country free text, other-brand free text, or open comment.

What the current website does not collect

Analytics boundary

Analytics tools must not receive email addresses, raw brand/model free text, photos, camera content, face-derived data, payment data, or children’s data.

Analytics may be used to understand page views, button clicks, pricing-interest selections, form-start events, referral source, UTM parameters, and similar non-identifying website-interest signals.

How information may be used

Information may be used to manage the early access list, contact users about launch updates, understand swim-goggle fit problems, prioritize future product and market planning, operate and secure the website, and respond to privacy requests.

Pricing interest is pre-launch product-interest feedback only. It is not payment information and does not mean payment is available today.

Service providers

We use trusted service providers to support website hosting, waitlist storage, basic website analytics, security, and privacy-request workflows.

These providers may process information only as needed to support the current website and related privacy or legal workflows.

Future App data separation

Future App processing is separate from the current website waitlist. If the ContourBayes mobile App becomes available, it may request camera permission and user consent for compatibility assessment.

Future App processing may involve user-provided fit inputs, the selected swim-goggle model, and online fit-risk guidance.

ContourBayes does not use planned App face-related processing for facial recognition or identity verification, and does not store photos or raw camera content.

Future face-derived data classification remains Founder/legal confirmation needed before mobile app production launch.

Retention

Waitlist contact and product-interest information is retained only while needed to manage early-access interest, send requested ContourBayes updates, understand product interest, and respond to privacy requests.

Non-identifying website analytics and security records are retained only while needed to understand website performance, protect the service, investigate misuse, resolve disputes, or meet applicable legal obligations, subject to current provider settings.

No blanket fixed retention period is currently claimed. Final production retention schedules and deletion procedures remain pending. Privacy requests use the contact process below; this website does not currently provide automated account-deletion or erasure tooling.

Adult-only service

ContourBayes is for adult users only. The Services are intended for users who are at least 18 years old. Persons under 18 are not permitted to use or register for the Services.

ContourBayes does not knowingly collect data from or market to children.

Privacy requests

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive information about personal information processed by ContourBayes.
